Zara Yaad Kar is a
drama series 2016 Pakistani aired on Hum TV, which debuted on March 15, 2016.
It is directed and produced by Amna Nawaz Khan under his production company and
written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar . It stars Zahid Ahmed, Yumna and Sana Javed
Zaidi.
Story of Zara Yad Kar :
The story revolves
around Hadi (Zahid Ahmed (actor)) and Mahnoor (Sana Javed (actress)), which are
cousins and are engaged to be married (Nikkah). Hadi is a simple man, with a
limited profit, but honestly love with Mahnoor. He lives in a rented room in a
house owned by Ikhtiar Ali (Rashid Farooqui). Ikhtiar and her daughter attend
college Uzma (Yumna Zaidi) Hadi hold both in high esteem because of his
impeccable character and peaceful atmosphere. Hadi is immensely care and
protection to Mahnoor, which is at the center of his universe. It is also
broad-minded and encourages Mahnoor to work and be self-sufficient. Uzma, who
is not aware that Hadi is dedicated, is drawn to him because of his sympathetic
nature. She just wrote a letter to Hadi confessing her love for him. Hadi
chides him gently, letting him know that exercise and deeply in love with
Mahnoor. the letter shown Mahnoor thinking that should not hide anything from
his wife-to-be.
Mahnoor on the other
hand not as emotionally invested in the relationship as Hadi. His selfish side
arises when he meets his new neighbor Waqar who teaches Urdu. Mahnoor Waqar is
richer and more attractive than Hadi. Their greed leads her to seek a divorce
so she can marry Hadi with Waqar. His selfish act creates a rift between her
and her mother Aneesa (Saba Faisal) and leaves Hadi heartbroken. Although
deeply wounded, Hadi agrees to divorce Mahnoor believing that feelings Mahnoor
to Waqar is authentic. He agrees to divorce in order to preserve their own
self-respect and because he believes in letting go of the woman who loves him.
Mahnoor Waqar asks to
marry her on the same day she divorced Hadi, which agrees tacitly Waqar.
However, unbeknownst to Mahnoor, Waqar has been hired to teach Urdu Geeti
(Sharmeen), who is the daughter of a renowned politician Deswali (Adnan
Jilani). Geeti has recently returned from US to contest the upcoming elections
of the city that belongs Waqar.
Mahnoor few days later
discovers that Waqar has vacated the apartment he had rented in the same
building as Mahnoor the same day she divorced Hadi. This leaves Mahnoor
puzzled, but still hope that Waqar would someday and marry her.
While learning Urdu
Waqar, Geeti begins to be attracted to him. He accompanies her on tour
campaign, allowing them to spend more and more time together, fortifying her
feelings for him. Over time, Geeti confesses his feelings to Waqar, who feels
elated to have won the hearts of the daughter of a powerful politician. Aneesa,
concerned about the future of her daughter, manages to find the whereabouts of
Waqar and delivery Mahnoor so you can find out their plans. Mahnoor, ecstasy
Waqar's whereabouts have finally received calls it. Waqar acts innocent about
his sudden departure, he alludes to be in some sort of problem and agrees to
comply with Mahnoor after a couple of months after you have had the opportunity
to resolve the issues that are involved.
Waqar's response makes
Mahnoor grows suspicious and apparently remorseful for his behavior towards
Hadi. It is apologize to Hadi unbeknownst to his mother in order to move
towards a possible reconciliation. However, Hadi not forgive her immediately,
still nursing his self-respect pain. Mahnoor grows desperate and asks Hadi to
re-marry her, in flagrant disregard of religious and social norms. The act of
Mahnoor Hadi leaves even more heartbroken because he sees Mahnoor taking
marriage, commitment, love and relationships so lightly. He starts to wonder if
he is willing to suffer another heart-break Mahnoor remarry, despite still
loving her to the core.
Waqar rise dreams come
down when Geeti brother discovers his plans. Waqar is hit, you are warned to
stay away from Geeti, he is threatening to marry immediately and leave the
city. Helpless before the power of brother Geeti, Waqar leaves the city as
advised.
Mahnoor decides to
return with Hadi at all costs. However, she can do it only marry another man,
get a divorce from him and waiting for a mandatory period before marrying again
Hadi. Jealous of Uzma who fears Hadi can take away from her, she asks Hadi al
Uzma leave the house and find other accommodation. Uzma also calls Hadi to
leave after she is accused by Mahnoor trying to win Hadi. Hadi leaves the house
Uzma and occupies an accommodation in another house owned by (Fouzia Mushtaq).
There lies with Nausheen (Maryam Fatima), her granddaughter.
